Welcome to the unique Universe of Nena Čermák: with her multidimensional art, Cermák creates her very own world of new forms of existence: the cross-species morphology of her creations seems to turn the inside out, switching back and forth between micro and macro perspectives and interweaving humans, animals, machines and plants to create the ideal of a self-optimized and future-oriented idea of a diverse, (r)evolutionary development.
To this end, Čermák uses a wide variety of haptically inviting materials such as textiles and plastics and employs a wide range of forms of expression from painting and sculpture to installation and performance.
Nena Čermák wants to initiate innovative ways of thinking and social change – after all, everyone has the creative power to improve themselves and the world.
